SUMMARY
Summary: Designed by Dutch architect, Rem Koolhaas of Office for Metropolitan Architecture, the Seattle Central Library is the pinnacle of the Seattle Public Library system. Barbara worked closely with the library staff throughout the design process, constantly striving to ensure that staff needs and goals were well represented in the design process. Barbara also led the public input process resulting in over twenty meetings held with different library constituents to gather their thoughts and hopes for the new building. Barbara was instrumental in overseeing the library's Program document and validating that the design team honored the information communicated through it. She provided her services through Seneca Group.
